Replacing a Flat Tire

When you’re driving down the road and realize that you have a flat tire, it’s important to know how to put on your spare. The first thing you want to do is pull to the side of the road and put on your hazard lights. Then, put on your parking brake and locate your spare.

Your car should have everything you need, including the wrench. Remove the wheel cap to expose the lug nuts. Once the lug nuts are loose, you can place the jack under the car and raise the vehicle. Remove the lug nuts and then slide the tire off of the bolts. Put the spare on the bolts and tighten the lug nuts by hand. Then, lower the jack and tighten the lug nuts with the wrench. Add on the cap and you’re good to go.

With a spare in place, you can then drive your car to B & B Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram so that we can put on a new tire.
